Fresh Bloody Mary

Ingredients:

1 pound of ripe tomatoes
1/4 cup chopped celery
2 tablespoons fresh chilies (like jalapeno) or 1 teaspoon dried chile flake
1/4 juice from one lemon
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce such as Tabasco or Tapatio
1 teaspoon Finely ground sea salt
Vodka or Gin preferably chilled in freezer
Celery, lemon wedges, olives or what every you like for garnish

Procedure:

In a bowl, toss tomatoes, celery pieces, pepper, lemon, Worcestershire sauce, pepper sauce and salt.  Run the juice thru a juicer or food processor.  You will have about 1 1/2 cups of liquid.

Fill 2 glasses with ice.  Add 1 1/2 to 2 ounces of vodka/gin to each glass.  Add 6 ounces of tomato mix to the glass.  Salt or a spice rub can be added to the rim depending on your taste.

Garnish and enjoy!
