Peach Sangria

Peaches are just starting to come in to season. We have had tough luck with our trees on the farm the last few years but we love them so we have to provide a peach sangria recipe to compliment the end of summer vibe.

Ingredients:

1 ½ cup peach juice (4-6 med. Peaches juiced or a 12 oz can if in a pinch)

½ cup brandy (peach brandy if you like but Clear Creek Oregon Grape Brandy is better in this case)

½ cup lime juice

¼ cup sugar

1 bottle pinot gris (750ml) (Erath Vineyards is a good choice)

½ bottle sparkling water (350ml)

1 peach sliced

1 lime sliced

Procedure:

In a pitcher mix peach juice, brandy, lime juice and sugar until the sugar dissolves. Add the pinot gris and chill until ready to serve. Add sparkling water and pour into ice filled glasses with sliced peach and lime as a garnish.
